Swimming Lessons for Children (Ages 5-12)
Just For Kicks Swimming offers group swimming lessons capped at five students per instructor for students under the age of twelve. These classes, creatively designed for children, will focus on instilling water safety skills based on principles instituted by the American Red Cross. Students will learn floating face down and on the back, entry and exit from the pool, freestyle and backstroke, and underwater comfort.
Swimming Lessons for Teens (Ages 12-17)
Just For Kicks Swimming will prepare teens and pre-teens who have not passed the water safety test with water safety skills based on principles instituted by the American Red Cross. These students will also learn floating face down and on their back, entry and exit from the pool, freestyle and backstroke, and underwater comfort.
Nutrition and Wellness Classes (All Ages)
Just For Kicks Swimming offers nutrition and meditation classes to improve the overall health of our community. We believe physical activity, nutrition, and wellness classes will holistically improve the lives of our participants and their families. We will let you know when the next nutrition or wellness event will be held.
Private Swimming Lessons (All Ages)
Contributions received from private and semi-private lessons help fund swimming programs for urban youth. Private lessons include mommy & me, preschool aquatics, children, teen, and adult lessons.
